For an inexpensive synthetic wig, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this one compares to other wigs at this price point.

Mine is Blonde with Dark Roots. Overall, the color looks yellower and darker under artificial light, and lighter and cooler outdoors. The blonde parts are mostly light, with some subtle darker, slightly orange streaks mixed in. The transition to the dark roots is convincing and doesn't have that "dipped in dye" look that some inexpensive wigs have. I like how the bangs are mostly blonde so I don't have the root color next to my face.

There's a lot of hair, but somehow it doesn't look overwhelming. The waves are bigger and looser at the top so my head doesn't look huge, and I like how they frame my face! The bangs look natural, not overly thick. I'd like to loosen the lower waves a bit, but that's just personal preference. The hair is not too shiny.

The cap fits my average-sized head well, conforming to the shape of my head with no weird lumps or airspace. It's actually fairly comfortable, and doesn't itch. When I combed it out (which took some effort), it only lost a few strands.

The worst thing about the wig is the part. It's a dead giveaway, too straight, too wiggy. I played with it a bit, spraying with some water, then made the part less even by reversing bits of hair and finger-pressing them into place. I didn't put much time into it, but it looked better, and I think with more effort I could improve it even more.

It's a fun, inexpensive wig that probably won't fool anyone into thinking it's real hair, but it's good enough to wear if that isn't your goal!

For this review I do not plan to show of photo of me in the wig. Why? I'll tell you at the end. Just know that this wig arrived in a piece of netting to keep the hair in place and not get tangled. After wearing the wig, I put it back in that netting. The wig also came with a wig cap. The color and style of the wig is just as described and I was struck by how soft the wig hair was (but keep in mind this is not made of human hair, I don't want to mislead). The bangs are wispy and bit long for my taste (the length bugged me, just as when my natural hair bangs grow too long), but that isn't a fault of the wig, just my preference. The color is pretty and I chose the blonde that had the dark roots - just because. I thought it would be fun to have a wig and have one that is so completely the opposite of me, such as the long length and the pretty waves. What I forgot from when I was a blonde years ago is that the reason I stopped being a blonde is that on my skin tone, blonde washes me out. Again, neither here nor there for what this is, just telling a story that's probably too much information! But it IS the reason why I'm not showing a photo of me in the wig. I looked washed out and ridiculoulsy pale. Nope. Not going to show that publicly. So, I'm going to use the wig for special costume occasions, which is perfectly fine for me. It's a fun wig, looks pretty and quite natural so I encourage anyone to go for it. We should all have fun wigs to wear for any kind of occasion. It seems like a nice quality wig, one that I expect will last quite awhile if taken care of.

This is a cute wig. It's soft and easy to style, and it's comfortable to wear. It's great for costumes.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this wig. I have a few synthetics at this price point and this one is by far the nicest. You get a fairly smooth transition from your head to the front of the wig (as opposed to the bump you often get with wigs without bangs). The color transitions look realistic. It doesn't shed or tangle too much (a little is expected with this kind of wig). Really, I'm very happily surprised by the whole thing.
